Althea and Arfil Sunset Engagement Session

Wedding planning is never easy, and you'll need all of the assistance you can get. The key is to plan ahead of time, with a mood board, inspirational photos, and a color palette that reflects your personality as a couple. Your plans can be carried out with the right guidance and wedding suppliers.

Your wedding suppliers should be your most-trusted experts during the planning process. You should feel free to explore what it is you want and have an honest conversation with them about it.

Althea and I had the pleasure of working together on their engagement session. Everything happened pretty fast that we didn't have the chance to meet in person. She's a wonderful bride to work with, and she gave me complete creative freedom when it came to creating her dried flower bouquet for their engagement shoot.

For her dried flower bouquet, she wanted something with a pop of color for the bouquet to stand out since their outfits were classic and minimal looks. She curated the looks herself and is something that they would wear daily.  Their mood board reflects their personality as a couple.

Althea told me she wanted to be surprised and requested to have a "first look" at the dried flower bouquet I made her. A first look is the first time a bride and groom see each other before their wedding ceremony. It was a relief when she told me how much she loved it and how perfect the bouquet was for the shoot.

There's nothing more rewarding than knowing someone wants you and only you, for what you do.

Grateful for the trust we have been given, and it was truly an honor to create for you.
